The Center for Agriculture and Stockbridge School at the University of Massachusetts Amherst are developing an Agricultural Learning Center will serve as a hands-on living laboratory for agricultural teaching.The Center will be located at Wysocki Field, which is the field that falls between North Pleasant St and Ridgecrest Rd.The Center will provide experiential learning opportunities within walking distance to the main campus in a variety of farming, horticultural, nursery and landscape career paths.With the renewed interest in local food and local agriculture, the learning center will help to meet the educational needs of new farmers and serve as a resource for outreach and community education. Together with the Center for Agriculture and the Stockbridge School, the External Relations Office would like to invite you to a meeting to learn more about the project and to ask questions of our Campus Planning staff and the faculty involved in this exciting project.
