PVTA reaches out, seeks to improve communication
Wednesday, October 11, 2017
The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority is seeking public comment on how the agency can do a better job communicating with the public.
That will be the focus of several listening sessions at PVTA transit hubs in the area, beginning on Oct. 23. The dates and locations for those sessions are as follows:
♦ Union Station, at 55 Frank B. Murray St., in Springfield on Oct. 23 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m, and again on Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
♦ Holyoke Transportation Center, at 206 Maple St., on Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
♦ Northampton City Council Chambers, at 210 Main St., on Oct. 25 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
♦ Haigis Mall Bus Station, at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, on Oct. 26 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
There are three other ways that members of the public can use to weigh in on how the PVTA can better communicate: complete a survey the authority has set up (http://www.pvta.com/publicListening.php), send the PVTA comments via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the authority at 413-732-6248 ext. 235.
