1. What are your office hours?

The regular business hours for the Town Clerk’s Office are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

2. How may I obtain a copy of a vital record such as a birth, death, or marriage certificate?

Certified copies of birth, death, and marriage records may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office in person during regular business hours or by mail.

The fee for a certified copy of a vital record is $10. For requests by mail, please enclose a self-addressed, stamped return envelope. Mail requests to:

3. Can I do genealogical research at your office?

The Town Clerk’s Office, upon request, will make available public vital records based on the following procedure.

The first 15 minutes of search time will be at no charge, other than a $10 fee for each certified copy requested.

If the information is requested from a specific record, minimal information will be made available, with more complete information being available at charge of $10 per record.

Vital record searches may be done during regular business hours.
