The following is a list of resources that can help with financial assistance:
- The Community Development Department provides financial assistance to eligible families who reside in Amherst. - The Early Childhood Community Partnership Program provides financial assistance to eligible families with children between three and four years of age. To be eligible, parents must be working either full or part-time. For more information call the Amherst Public Pre-School Program at 413-253-8029.
- Families receiving funds from the Department of Transition Assistance are eligible to receive vouchers to pay for their child care. For more information call the Department of Transitional Assistance at 413-552-5400.
