Do you want to become a Town Meeting member?
– The deadline for getting your name on the ballot as a candidate for Town Meeting is Tuesday, February 4 at 5:00pm in the Town Clerk's office. You must be a registered voter in the Town of Amherst. All it takes is 1 signature – your own to get on the ballot. Click here for more information

How to Become a Town Meeting Member - Only one signature is required to have your name on the ballot in the Annual Town Election. Occasionally there are other opportunities during the year when a TM member resigns. Call the Town Clerk's office (259-3035) or click here for more information.

Information on Upcoming Articles
- The Select Board, Finance Committee, and Planning Board all discuss various upcoming articles in the months before Town Meeting. Viewing the discussion by these boards can give us all a more complete understanding of the articles.All of their meetings are video recorded by ACTV and can be viewed on cable Channel 17 or on the computer via ACTV’s Meetings On Demand.
