Overview
The Town Clerk’s Office provides notary service to the general public. A notary public is a public officer, appointed by the governor, who witnesses the signing of important documents and administers oaths.
The fee is $5 for each notarization (cash or check only). A valid, government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license, is required.
The document(s) cannot already have been signed nor dated, and all signers must be present at the time of notarizing.
PLEASE NOTE: If witnesses are required on your document, please bring them with you. The Town Clerk's office does not provide witnesses.
