Fee Subsidy/ Scholarship

Financial Aid - Amherst Recreation and the Amherst Recreation Commission recognize the charging of fees may place such an economic hardship on some families that they are unable to participate. The following forms of financial assistance are available. Due to limited resources, Amherst Recreation is only able to provide financial assistance to children. Families with children ages 18 and under may apply for assistance.

Please Note:

     *Financial assistance eligibility is based on income and family size.

     *Allow 3-5 business days to apply for financial assistance.

     Financial aid may only be applied to registrations going forward.

    

Annual Amherst Recreation Fee Subsidy

     *Available to Amherst youth for Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer or until funds are exhausted.

     *Yearly Fee Subsidy Application required.

     *Once fee subsidy is approved, online registration is available.

 

Afterschool Programs – Prime Time at Crocker Farm 

     *Available to youth attending Crocker Farm Prime Time After School Programs.

     *Yearly Afterschool Subsidy Application required.

     *Online Registration is unavailable. Please register by phone, walk in, mail, or fax.

     *Amherst Recreation is a voucher eligible afterschool provider. For information on receiving a State Voucher for afterschool programs please contact New England Farm Workers.

        

Summer Programs

 Achievement Academy

   *Available to youth attending the Amherst Achievement Academy Summer School.

     Achievement Academy Financial Assistance Application is required.

    Online registration is unavailable. Please register by phone, walk in, mail, or fax.


State Voucher Assistance

     *Amherst Recreation is a voucher eligible summer camp provider. Amherst Recreation Camps are eligible. For information on    

     receiving a Summer camp voucher please contact New England Farm Workers.

     *Online Registration is unavailable. Please register by phone, walk in, mail, or fax if you are using a state voucher for Summer camp registration.
