Mission
To fulfill the Town Council's role and responsibility as the chief elected officials responsible to the citizens of Amherst for policies and for the administration of the Town government.
To provide leadership for, support to and coordination of Town employees and hundreds of citizens involved in considering various forms of information and in making recommendations and decisions about policies and priorities for Town services.
To supervise and assist Town employees in implementing decisions and providing Town services in an effective manner.
