How to obtain a certified copy of a vital record during Town Hall closure to public: You may send your request by mail or use the drop box located on the Main St. side of Town Hall. Please include:
A note with name on record and date of birth, marriage or death
A check made payable to the "Town of Amherst" for the proper amount (copies are $10.00 each)
A self-addressed, stamped envelope.
