​How to obtain a certified copy of a vital record during  Town Hall closure to public:
​You may send your request by mail or use the drop box located on the Main St. side of Town Hall.  Please include:
  • ​A note with name on record and date of birth, marriage or death
  • A check made payable to the "Town of Amherst" for the proper amount (copies are $10.00 each)
  • A self-addressed, stamped envelope.
  • Mail to:  Town Clerk, 4 Boltwood Ave, Amherst, MA 01002
Mail will be checked frequently and all requests will be sent as soon as possible.  Thank you.
