PechaKucha Night sponsored by the Amherst Cultural Council
Thursday, March 12, 2020
PechaKucha, which means “chit-chat” in Japanese, is an entertaining and fast-paced community event. These events happen all over the world bringing
communities together around their creative talent. Artists and designers talk
about their work and process while showing twenty slides, each displayed for
twenty seconds, with exactly six minutes and forty seconds per presenter.
The lively evening includes eight to ten presentations, a mid-way refreshment
intermission, and opportunities to mix and mingle before and after at Bistro 63
on North Pleasant Street in Amherst’s town center.
