"What To The Slave Is The Fourth of July"

Sunday, July 5, 2020

This historic speech was delivered by Frederick Douglass on July 5, 1852 in Corinthian Hall, Rochester NY, addressing the Ladies’ Anti-Slavery Society. Please join the Reading Fredrick Douglas Project as we embark our 5th year of Community reading & discussion via ZOOM. (This program will be recorded and aired an Amherst Media at a later date.) We are encouraging our youth to take on leading rolls. If you are interested in reading please contact Ingrid Askew by July 2nd (please note how many readers) at crossingthewaters1@gmail.com. Hope to see you Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
