Stan Ziomek, 92, father of Assistant Town Manager/Director of Conservation and Development M. David Ziomek and a 41 year Town employee passed away at his North Amherst home on Wednesday surrounded by family. Stan served as both Director of Public Works, Tree Warden and several stints as Acting Town Manager, and was also known as the father of Amherst baseball.
