Where can you get updates on major projects in Town, find out what’s going on in your neighborhood, meet and chat with your neighbors, AND enjoy some excellent pizza?
Join us for our NEW “Town Hall Road Show”:
- South Amherst: Thursday, April 13th at Crocker Farm School, cafeteria. 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
- North Amherst: Wednesday, April 19th at UMass Police Department, community room. 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Please join us to hear more about what’s going on in the Town – directly from the Town officials working on the issues. Paul Bockelman, Town Manager, will bring key staff from Town Hall, DPW, Public Safety and other departments to provide updates and explanations about emerging and ongoing issues in Town.
Town Manager Bockelman said, “It’s hard for people to stay up-to-date with everything going on in Town. I hope these meetings will be just another opportunity for residents to have an interesting and enjoyable evening learning about Town projects, hearing about what’s coming up, and discussing how you can get involved.”
Want to know more about road work coming up this summer? How the police and fire departments address Spring weekends? What developments are making their way through the planning process? You’ll get these answers – and more – at these meetings!
At these Spring updates, Town staff will provide the latest information about work being done and issues in Town government. There will be ample time for questions and answers and you will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with key department heads informally.
Here’s the schedule: 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. – Informal conversation and pizza
6:30 – 7:15 p.m. – Staff updates on projects and operations
