Traffic Calming Half Closures
Starting: Tuesday, September 8th, 2009
Ending: Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009
On September 8th Department of Public Works crews will install temporary half closure islands on the east and westbound lanes of both Sunset and Lincoln Ave at their intersection with Fearing St.
This means that traffic travelling in either direction on Lincoln or Sunset will have to make a right or left turn at Fearing, eliminating the direct access to or from the University. It also means that traffic traveling on Fearing Street will not be able to access either Lincoln or Sunset.
On Tuesday, September 15th Sunset Ct and McClure St will be closed completely to through traffic as a second phase of this temporary traffic calming measure.
