WILDFLOWER DRIVE CLOSED
From Indian Pipe Ln to Alyssum Ln
Tuesday, May 30th, possibly into Wednesday, May 31st ,
From Alyssum Ln to Station Rd
Wednesday, May 31st, through Friday, June 2nd
Geeleher Construction will resume work on the Wildflower Drive Sewer Extension starting on Tuesday, May 30th, 2017. (No work on Monday) The current road closure on Wildflower between Indian pipe and Alyssum will remain in effect through Tuesday, and possibly part of Wednesday. On Tuesday or Wednesday the work zone will transition through the intersection of Alyssum and Wildflower. All efforts will be made to permit vehicular traffic in, and out of Alyssum, although access to Alyssum may require traffic to detour around via Route 9 (Belchertown Rd) and/or Station Rd.
Wildflower Dr will be closed to through traffic from 7am to 5pm.
Residents will only have access to their homes from their respective sides, either the Belchertown Rd or the Station Rd end of Wildflower Dr. Please choose the appropriate route based on the location of the construction and leave extra time to allow for possible delays.
All residents will have access to their driveways during construction; however, at certain times there may be delays. Please allow extra time and have patience as there may be instances when construction equipment may temporarily block driveway and roadway access.
If any resident has sprinkler heads, invisible pet fences, etc., inside the Town Right of way please clearly mark the location of them. The contractor is not responsible for damage to these systems but will try to avoid them if they are marked.
For questions or additional information concerning the project please contact the Amherst Department of Public Works at 413-259-3050 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
