eversource logo

Transmission Maintenance will be replacing hardware on 6 structures and installing lightning protection on selected structures. Work is scheduled to begin within the next couple of weeks and be completed by the end of the year.  Maintaining infrastructure is one of the many ways Eversource supports the safe and secure transmission of electricity throughout the region.

Work hours are Monday – Saturday, 7AM to 7PM.  Construction activity will occur in phases and will not be continuous in any one area.

The nearby property owners are being provided with a 1-800 number and an email address if they would like additional information. Construction activity will take place within the existing right of way (transmission corridor) in Amherst and Granby.

Amherst Work– Replacing hardware on 5 existing structures and installation of lightening protection on selected structures.  This work will take place in the right-of-way off of Route 116 and Pulpit Hill Rd.
