[ARCHIVED] Open Air Burning Permits now available

AFD Maltese Cross - Web ready

Open air burning is allowed by state regulations from January 15th thru May 1st each year.   You must first obtain a permit from the fire department.  To pay the $25 annual fee and obtain a permit you may apply online or come to the Fire Department business office at the Central Fire Station during normal business hours.  A fire department representative will then come and inspect your property and issue the permit.   Get your permit NOW.  DON'T WAIT until the day you want to burn to get your permit!  Crews may be busy with emergency traffic the day you want to burn and may be unable to issue the permit on short notice.
Permits are good for the entire season - get yours NOW!  To apply and pay for your permit online click on link below.
