The Amherst Humans Rights Commission invites you to a program celebrating the legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Wednesday, January 15th at 4:00 PM.  Please gather at the front steps of Amherst Town Hall.

  • Reading of the 2020 MLK Proclamation: Lynn Griesemer, Town Council President
  • Bell Ringing Ceremony: Town of Amherst Facilities
  • Candle light March to Woodbury Room, Jones Library

  • Community Reading of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Speeches
