Sidewalk Closure at University Apartments Demolition Site Begins Monday, March 15
Contractors for the University Apartments Demolition Project on North Pleasant Street and Butterfield Terrace will be expanding fence lines and temporarily closing a section of sidewalk along the east side of North Pleasant Street beginning Monday, March 15.
Sidewalk currently running along the east side of North Pleasant Street from the Massachusetts Avenue intersection to Thatcher Road and the entrance to the Research Administration Building parking lot (see map, right) will be closed for approximately six to eight weeks to accommodate asbestos abatement and steam line removal in the area. Intermittent closures will occur thereafter in order to complete site restoration.
