Proposed Bylaw - Prohibiting the Use of Wild and Exotic Animals in Traveling Shows and Circuses

The Town Council will hold a first discussion on a proposed bylaw: Prohibiting the Use of Wild and Exotic Animals in Traveling Shows and Circuses, at the Town Council meeting on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. A second reading and potential vote is scheduled for the Town Council meeting on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. 

Both meetings will be held virtually:

Full text of the proposed bylaw is available here. If adopted by the Town Council, the bylaw shall become effective 14 days after the Town Council vote to adopt, or a specified later date.

This notice is posted in compliance with Charter Section 2.10(a), and Town Council Rules of Procedure rule 8.3.
