Asphalt Crack Sealing

Starting Tuesday, May 17th, 2022

Between 6AM and 3PM

 

 

The Town’s asphalt crack sealing contractor Indus Inc. will begin work on local streets beginning on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022, starting at 6AM.  Crews will be working across town all week, on various main roads as well as side streets. 

 

The streets to be done this year include South Pleasant St, West St, Bay Rd, South East St, Main St, Strong St, Stony Hill Rd, and Dennis Dr. 

 

Please be advised when approaching a crack sealing operation that cars should remain a safe distance of 100ft or more behind crews as to not damage the newly placed sealer. Follow all directions given by detail officers and workers to allow for smooth traffic flow during work operations.

 

Crack Sealing is expected to last one to two weeks.

 

 

  • EXPECT POSSIBLE DELAYS & SEEK ALTERNATE ROUTES

 

  • ON-STREET PARKING IS PROHIBITED DURING CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS

 

  • SLOW DOWN IN WORK ZONES
