[ARCHIVED] Proposed Bylaw - Preservation of Historically Significant Buildings

The Town Council will hold a first discussion on a proposed bylaw - Preservation of Historically Significant Buildings, at the Town Council meeting on Monday June 6, 2022 at 6:45 p.m. A second reading and potential vote is scheduled for the regular Town Council meeting on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 6:45 p.m. 

Both meetings will be held virtually:

Full text of the proposed bylaw is available here. If adopted by the Town Council, the bylaw shall become effective 14 days after the Town Council vote to adopt, or a specified later date.

The proposed bylaw would replace Zoning Bylaw Article 13 - Demolition Delay in its entirety; the proposed rescission of zoning bylaw article 13 is scheduled concurrently with adoption of the general bylaw.
