Amherst residents and local leaders are working together to save energy as part of the Western Mass Saves Challenge. Working together, our collective mission is to save energy and money in Amherst and across Western Massachusetts, all while earning a free solar panel system for a public building! The panels are a 1 kilowatt photovoltaic (PV) system.
Amherst is one of just four towns currently eligble for this special prize. Just imagine solar panels on an Amherst building that you can all point to with community pride! We are calling on all residents to get involved. We are challenging you and your neighbors to help your town.
