This test will include use of the Outdoor Warning System. There are eight outdoor warning sirens located throughout the campus that may be used to notify persons of an existing or imminent threat to the campus community.
The warning system provides an alert tone to notify the campus community of a situation followed by a brief prerecorded hazard announcement. It is also capable of providing live public address announcements for additional information.
This will be audible to neighborhoods surrounding the University.
