MASTER PLAN FORUM
The Amherst Planning Board is sponsoring a community forum on Amherst’s draft Master Plan on Wednesday, December 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the Pole Room, Bangs Community Center.
Following completion of the Planning Amherst Together public participation process and a final set of drafts from the consultant, the Comprehensive Planning Committee worked to refine a draft Master Plan. That draft Master Plan was presented to the Amherst Planning Board on November 5, 2008. The Planning Board is holding the December 10 community forum to obtain public input which can inform and help shape the Board’s approach to completing and adopting the Master Plan.
Copies of The Draft Master Plan and Appendices can be viewed at the Jones Public Library, the Amherst Planning Department, and the documents can be downloaded from the Comprehensive Planning Menu found on the Planning Department webpage.
