I agree to provide the Treasurer/Collector’s Office an accurate email address for paperless billing of the real estate tax as relevant to my property. I agree to notify the Treasurer/Collector’s Office of change in email address for paperless billing with the understanding that an address change will be implemented for all real estate tax bills following the date of the notice by more than 7 days. I accept that the paperless bill will be the sole means by which the Town will notify me of tax due on this property. I acknowledge that any emailed bill notice issued to the address provided to the Treasurer/Collector is a valid and properly issued bill, and failure to receive it does not alter the obligation to make payment on time. Interest and late fines accrued to late balances will remain fully collectible in instances of failure to receive the emailed bill notice.

A representative from the Teasurer/Collector’s Office will confirm this enrollment by email. Your real estate tax bills from the Town of Amherst will be emailed to you beginning on the date of that email UNLESS you OBJECT to the email confirmation as sent by the office within 24 hours. Please remember to inform the office of email address changes by repeating this enrollment or sending email to Collector@amherstma.gov.
