    Come learn improvisation skills and drama games just for the fun of it! Learn to think on your feet, be in the moment, and trust your instincts, all the while having a great time. Taught by former professional actress and experienced teacher Becca Greene-Van Horn, the class will focus on the basics, while encouraging participants to stretch themselves into previously unknown and hilarious territory.

  2. Being Jewish in Ireland

    Amherst Irish Association is honored to host Rabbi Ben Weiner, Jewish Community of Amherst, on March 5th, 2017. Rabbi Weiner studied at Trinity College Dublin where he earned a Masters in Irish Literature. He will talk about his experience of living in Ireland, the history of the Jewish community in Ireland, and representations of Jews in Irish literature, including James Joyce's Ulysses. Established in 2014, Amherst Irish Association/Cumann Gaelach Amherst is a community-based initiative. Our is aim is to host events that explore aspects of Ireland's diaspora, culture and society.
