The Town Council will hold a Public Forum on the Master Plan on Monday, October 28th in the Town Room in Town Hall.
There will be two parts to the evening:
5:00 p.m. – The Planning Director will provide a primer on the current Master Plan
6:00 p.m. – Public Forum on the Master Plan as required by Section 2.13 of the Town Charter
The public is encouraged to attend and learn about the Master Plan during the first session and convey any opinions, questions, or thoughts they may have during the Public Forum.

In preparation for Town Elections on November 5 the League of Women Voters is holding a Candidates Forum at the Bangs Center on October 28 at 7:00. All candidates will be introduced. Library Trustees, who are all running unopposed, will introduce themselves and answer a question posed by the Moderator. School Committee nominees will introduce themselves and answer questions from the Moderator. Amherst Media will film the event.
