    Qi Gong (pronouced CHEE GONG) is a holistic system of cultivating and balancing the body's internal energy which is called qi, translated as " life energy". With roots in Chinese medicine, this mind body awareness exercise is composed of gentle stretching and flowing exercises, rhythmic breathing, and meditation. QiGong benefits include greater flexibility, strength, balance, and vitiality as well as decreasing stress, tension, and stiffness. It is available to everyone no matter how old you are or what shape you are in. QiGong can be done anywhere, requires zero equipment and gives you tremendous benefits in a short amount of time.

    For the tenth consecutive year, UMass Dining is hosting their annual 5K Dash & Dine on the UMass Amherst campus on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Open to the campus community and the general public, the run/walk is held to raise funds for our neighbors in need at the Amherst Survival Center (ASC).UMass Dining has raised over $39,000 for the Survival Center over the course of the last few years thanks to your help, and our goal is to raise more than $7,000 this year!
