TOPICS: Joint Public Hearing of the Planning Board and the Community Resources Committee of the Town Council 7:00 PM Zoning Bylaw – Zoning Bylaw – Article 15 – Inclusionary Zoning - To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Bylaw by amending Article 15, Inclusionary Zoning, to expand the applicability of Inclusionary Zoning, including amending the language referring to local preference, expanding the categories of residential uses to which the Inclusionary Zoning requirement applies, requiring a tiered level of affordability for projects requiring 6 or more affordable units, adopting a definition for “residential development” and increasing the number of affordable units required to qualify for a Special Permit to allow off-site provision of affordable units or to allow a payment-in-lieu-of provision for affordable units. Copies of the full text of the proposed zoning bylaw amendment is available in the Planning Department, Town Hall, Amherst, MA.
